A few things to get right.

Light

Bright, indirect light; protect the leaves from strong direct sun.

Water

Water thoroughly, then let roughly the upper quarter of the mix dry before watering again. Empty the outer pot afterward.

Soil & drainage

An airy, well-drained houseplant mix in a pot with drainage holes.

Growth & routine

A climber that benefits from support and occasional leaf cleaning.

What to watch for

A yellow leaf is not a diagnosis. Check moisture, light and recent changes before adjusting care.

A small care habit

Place the support when repotting rather than forcing it through an established root ball.

Why are my leaves not split?

Young leaves can be whole. Mature foliage develops splits; patience and suitable light matter.

Make the next check-in count.
