A few things to get right.

Light

Bright, indirect light; strong direct sun can scorch its foliage.

Water

Allow some drying between waterings. Avoid persistently wet mix and long spells of complete dryness.

Soil & drainage

A free-draining potting mix with drainage holes beneath it.

Growth & routine

A small, bushy plant suited to a bright desk or shelf.

What to watch for

Overwatering can lead to yellow leaves and root rot. Check the mix before interpreting a leaf change.

A small care habit

Look for the botanical name on the label; “rubber plant” can refer to a different genus.

Why choose it for a small space?

Its compact, branching habit makes it easier to accommodate than a large upright rubber tree.

Make the next check-in count.
